The company DANDALI took its first steps before sixty years ago, when in 1952 the founder Alekos Dandalis create a coffee shop in central market of Heraklion. In 1977, anticipating developments set up a processing coffee in a building on Ant.Kastrinaki street, which opened its first coffee packaging machine while starting the distribution of packaged coffee at super and mini market in the region. In 1986 with the motivation of his children convert the company into a General Partnership Company. In 1990 the demand of packaged coffee to grow, start creating a modern factory in Industrial Area of Heraklion, comprehensive coverage 1,500 sq. m. in a plot of 3,000 sq.m. In 1993 the end of construction equipment begins with the most modern equipment in the world market, covering all sectors, import-processing-packaging, distribution of various types of coffee Greek-French-Espresso. In 1995 the company became S.A. and since then operated under the name T. ALEKOS DANDALIS & SONS SA with the name “coffee DANDALI.” The company is managed by Alekos Dandali, president and CEO, the Vice Dandali Triantafillo and John Dandali member and commercial director. The excellent quality of its products which in the Greek market the company ranks among the largest companies in the coffee processing surname in Greece. In 2001 the company decides to enter in catering starting a cooperation with the Dutch company DOUWE EGBERTS supplying coffee and other beverages major hotels in Crete. Today is a leader in this market segment. The company employs in the production and placing 35 people in the area of administration 8 people. The capacity of the plant with the new investment is 8,500 pounds per day. Locally, the company serves more than 2,200 outlets through its own distribution and wholesaling. Looking to the future with optimism, the company Dandali after 60 years of life, a leading market position in the Greek cafe in Crete continues dynamically utilizing past experience, expertise and trained personnel carving new paths and goals.
